EnergAire® · Placement guide
Where to place
EnergAire®.
Give it open air. Know your room size. A practical guide to placement, gentle circulation and what 4,000 cubic feet means for your space.

Start with placement
An open location.
A simple everyday setup.
EnergAire® uses negative ions rather than a fan and replaceable filter. Choose a position that gives the unit space within the room you use regularly.
Keep it upright.
Use a stable table or open shelf in a dry, protected indoor location. Choose somewhere the unit will not be knocked over, with a convenient outlet nearby.
Leave the top open.
Keep the top emitter unobstructed. Avoid enclosed cabinets, tight corners behind furniture and positions pressed against curtains.
Plan for the room.
Consider furnishings, open or closed doors and normal airflow. Review the manufacturer’s placement guidance and specifications.
Know your room size
Cubic feet include
the ceiling height.
The stated coverage is up to 4,000 cubic feet under favorable conditions. Cubic feet measure room volume, not just floor area. Use feet for each measurement.

4,000cubic feet · 20 × 25 × 820 × 20-foot room
4,000cubic feet · 20 × 20 × 10These examples explain the measurement; they do not guarantee performance in every layout. Doorways, obstructions, airflow and particle sources affect how a space behaves. Plan closed rooms and separate floors individually rather than assuming one unit serves the whole home.

A little movement
Let room air
move gently.
EnergAire® operates without a built-in fan. If the room air is very still, a separate small fan on low, several feet away and off to one side, can encourage gentle movement across the room.
Do not aim a strong blast directly at the unit. A fan moves air; it does not generate additional ions.
Where the particles go
No replaceable filter.
Keep regular cleaning.
Negative ions charge airborne particles, encouraging them to combine and settle onto surfaces. EnergAire® does not collect those particles in a replaceable filter.
Remove settled dust.
Continue normal dusting and wiping to remove material that has settled onto household surfaces.
Keep floors clean.
Maintain your usual vacuuming and household cleaning routine. An ionizer does not replace that work.
Think beyond the unit.
Address sources of dust and odors, and keep appropriate ventilation and other household cleaning practices in place.
Before you choose
Measure the space.
Picture the setup.
The compact unit is approximately 9 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter and uses about 2 watts. Plan where it will stand before you order.
